To this incredible community,
May 15th was an unimaginably heartwarming day where the heart and soul of a small town made a big splash. I would like to thank everyone who has supported our family during Vega's fight against Leukemia.
Grateful, overwhelmed, and humbled are just a few words to describe our emotions after Vega's benefit on May 15th. We thank each and every person who came together for our daughter, whether you donated items, helped set up or throughout the day, purchased tickets and games, or one of the hundreds of people who just came out to show your support, your generosity, love, and support has not gone unnoticed and every encouraging word is cherished.
First and foremost, thank you to Embers 1871 for hosting and The Alexis Ray Band for the great entertainment. Also, a huge thank you to those who worked tirelessly and endlessly to plan and put together this event. together: Brittany McNulty, Tracy Zeske, Wendy Holmes, Lori Kniskern, Jenni Schwittay, Kira Kuntz, Amber Morin, and Alyssa Wandkeâ€your hard work paid off tremendously.
