Equity Hall December Community Events

The newly remodeled Equity Hall will be very busy in December. From live music to a visit from Santa, there is something for everybody to enjoy in December at Equity. Equity Hall is available to rent for gatherings. With capacity for over 225 people, the newly remodeled hall suits any occasion one may have to book. If interested in booking the hall, call Rosie at 920-591-0615.

Starting Tuesday, Nov. 30th, Cornhole League is back. If interested in joining the League, sign up at Equity Bar or call Rosie at 920-591-0615.

On Friday, Dec. 3 and Saturday, Dec. 4, the nationally recognized Rok Brigade (Def Leppard Tribute) from Chicago, IL, will be performing must see shows. Rok Brigade brings back those infectious melodies, heavy guitars, and layered harmonies that made Def Leppard's unique sound, giving some of the greatest rock anthems of the 80s. Advance tickets can be purchased at the following places: Equity Hall in Pound, George Webb in Peshtigo, Schooner Pub in Menominee, Gateway Bar in Crivitz, Katie's Subs in Pound, The Last Stop in Marinette, Ray's Boneyard in Lena, and Cheers Too in Coleman. Tickets can also be purchased online thru Equity's Facebook page. If interested in taking free bus transportation for the Saturday, Dec 4 show, sign up at The Last Stop or Schooners Pub by Friday, Dec 3. There must have at least 25 people signed up to reserve a bus.

Equity will be hosting Smear once again starting on Sunday, Dec. 5 at 1 p.m.  This entertaining card game is an enjoyment for all ages.  Just show up to play or if questions, please call Rosie at 920-591-0615.

Jordan Blanchard will be playing at Equity on Friday, Dec. 10th for the Equity Christmas Party starting at 8 p.m. A local singer from Coleman, Jordan gets the crowd singing along to great country hits from Dwight Yoakum to Eric Church. His enthusiasm, commanding vocals and entertaining performance is sure make a fantastic Christmas party. Wear your best ugly Christmas sweater or socks and be eligible for prizes. A fun holiday adult punch special and food specials will be available.

A fundraiser for the Coleman Area Rescue Squad, the Fightmare Before Christmas, will showcase live pro-wrestling in Equity Hall on Saturday, Dec. 11, starting at 7 p.m. Doors for the event open at 5:30 p.m. with the pre-show beginning at 6:15 p.m. Tickets are available at Equity Hall and Katie's Subs in Pound and George Webb in Peshtigo or online at cars.ticketleap.com/tickets. Tickets ringside are $15 purchased before the event or $20 the day of with general admission of $10 purchased before the event or $15 day of the event.

Before he visits all the children on Christmas Eve, Santa Claus and his lovely Mrs. Claus will visit Equity Hall on Sunday, Dec. 19.  He and Mrs. Claus invite all the good boys and girls and their families to visit them between the hours of 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.  Cookies, hot cocoa and goodie bags will be given to all children.  A special menu will be available including delicious, made to order pizzas.  Bring own cameras to get that special Christmas picture with Santa and Mrs. Claus. 

Equity will again be open on Christmas Eve to celebrate with friends and family starting at 4 p.m. It's a tradition to celebrate with the community with $2 Old Fashioneds.

Finally, Equity will be the place to be on New Year's Eve as the Otis Spicoli Band plays rock of all eras. Hats, horns, partying, and dancing are on the docket for this night of fun. Snacks, drink specials and a champagne toast will be available at midnight.
