William "Bill" John Honeychurch, 86, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2021 at Rennes Health Care Center, West in Peshtigo.
Born Aug. 6, 1935 in Iron Mountain, Mi., to the late Ruby (Wedin) and William John Honeychurch, he lived in Menominee all of his life and served in the United States Navy from 1955 - 1957. On Oct. 29, 1955, he married Virginia Claire LaMack and they had 50 years together before her death in 2006.
Together they raised six children and lost a son David in 1980. He worked at Carpenter Cook/ Fairway Foods as a semi truck driver/warehouse operator until retiring. A member of the Marinette Elks, he enjoyed watching Nascar, Golf, Michigan Wolverines and Detroit Lions. In earlier years, he enjoyed gathering at friends hunting camps, many family picnics and camping weekends.
He is survived by five children, Rosemarie (Michael) Marineau of Marinette, Michael Honeychurch of Menominee, Donna Englund of Hudsonville, Mi., Mark (Debbie) Honeychurch of Milton, Pa. and Susan Johnson of Kaukauna; a sister, Jeanette Enders of Waukesha; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Private family services will be held at Cadieu Funeral Home in Menominee with Rev. John Murray officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Menominee.
