Carolyn Jean (Johnson) Weed, 73, passed away Monday, December 27, 2021, at her home in the Town of Grover.
She was born December 1, 1948, daughter of the late Clark and Ruth (Littge) Johnson. Carolyn was a member of the Harmony Methodist Church where she served as Secretary for many years. Carolyn always had a passion for horses, along with going to auctions and collecting antiques.
She looked forward to get aways, her favorite was Mackinac Island, where she enjoyed sitting out on the balcony early in the morning listening to the horses clop by.
Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Cheri Weed; 2 grandchildren, Katie and Nick; a Godchild, Joe Weed; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert (Jane) Johnson of Marinette; many nieces and nephews; "The shop Boys" and special friend, Shirley Prestine.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Weed on April 20, 2014 and a brother, Gary Johnson at birth.
Family will receive relatives and friends Saturday, Jan. 8th at Berth and Rosenthal Funeral Home from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm with a Memorial Service to follow at 4:00 pm. Pastor Nathan Reed will be officiating.
