Patz Corporation of Pound announces the retirement of Steve Hansel of Lena. Steve began his career at Patz on Oct. 12, 1977 as a Loader in the Paint Department. Since then, he has worked in various positions, with most of his time being in the Paint Department as the Paint Coordinator. Steve was active in directing all the activities of a high-quality Powder Coating operation at Patz. Steve poses with Patz President, Jon Patz, right, after accepting a plaque of retirement recognition and gifts from the company. Employees then gathered to help Hansel celebrate his retirement while they enjoyed cake and beverages. When asked about his retirement plans, Steve quickly responded that he looks forward to traveling and being with his family. He also looks forward to focusing more on his woodworking and house projects. He said he will miss the people most as they have become like family. Now in its 74th year of operation, Patz has been designing, manufacturing, and marketing agricultural, industrial and contract manufacturing products and services to customers worldwide. "We are grateful for our long-term employees like Steve and wish him the best in the future. We thank Steve for his 44+ years of dedicated service," stated Patz.
