Karl T. Kuntz, 68, of Marinette, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2021, in Chicago, Ill.
Born June 7, 1953, in Marinette, to the late Walter and Germaine "Jimmie" (Marineau) Kuntz, he graduated from Marinette High School in 1971 and attended college and technical school. He worked as an Engineer/ Draftsman at various companies including Marinette Marine, where he retired recently and also taught at NWTC. He enjoyed photography and photo excursions in the area, the places he worked at and traveled to, and watching the Green Bay Packers, Chicago Blackhawks, and the Canadian Football League. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Marinette Elks Club.
Survivors include a brother, Lee "Sam" Kuntz of Marinette; a nephew, Frank Gorski and a niece, Denise Gorski.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis, and a sister, Peggy (Frank) Gorski.
Visitation will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church on Thursday, Jan. 13 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral services at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jon Tesch officiating. Thielen Funeral Home of Marinette is assisting the family.
