Coleman School Board To Set COVID Guidelines

Agenda for the Coleman School Board meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, March 28 includes discussion and probable action on COVID Guidelines and adoption of Wellness policy revisions. The meeting will be held in the high school library.
Also on the agenda are the resignation of Joanna Gross from Middle School Volleyball and Middle School Track responsibilities for the 2022-2023 school year, hiring of Michael Fochesato as head Track Coach, approval of Theresa Urrutia as a Volunteer Track Coach, review and approval of Youth Options and Start College Now applications, accepting a donation from the Ryan Wendt Family and possibly approving other district donations, hirings and resignations.
This will be the final regular meeting for Board President Ryan Wendt, who did not seek re-election and will be replaced after the elections on Tuesday, April 5.
Elementary/MiddleSchool Principal Pam Berg will report on parent/teacher conferences, the book fair, "It's Almost Spring", Summer School, and Middle School track.
High School Principal/Superintendent Doug Polomis will report on Wrestling and Basketball teams, parent/teacher conferences, Solo and Ensemble, State FBLA, Forensics, spring break and the end of he third term, TRITON, the renovation schedule, and the Lions Club Pancake Breakfast.
The board will also discuss bond defeasance.
After completing other business the board will go into closed session to discuss compensation of specific professional staff and support staff employees. They may take action after returning to open session before adjournment.
The next regular board meeting will be at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 18 in the High School Library.
