THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Masonic Acts of Kindness Fire Suppression Give Away
Issue Date: April 3, 2022
Nearly 60 Masons, first responders, and guests attended a lunch and learn on a fire suppression tool (FSv4T) at the Crivitz Masonic Center Saturday, March 26. Ten area fire and police departments were present for the seminar and at the end of the presentation a drawing was held. Two area agencies, Amberg Fire Department and Town of Stephenson Fire Department were the lucky recipients of a FSv4T unit. The 11-pound unit is capable of being thrown into a burning structure and it will suppress a fire in an enclosed space reducing the risk to firefighters and any trapped residents.
Most Worshipful Grand Master of Masons of Wisconsin Gary Stang thanked the first responders present for attending and the important work they do for our state. Wisconsin Masons are proud to assist communities by providing as many fire suppression tools as they can through the Wisconsin Masonic Foundation's Acts of Kindness initiative. Thanks to all the lodges in Northeast Wisconsin, especially the brethren at Crivitz Masonic Light Lodge #218 and DDGM Chris Young and his wife, Linda for the efforts hosting this event.
