Patricia "Pattee" La Fountain, passed away peacefully May 4, 2022 with her family by her side. She fought a courageous battle after complications following heart surgery.
She loved socializing and interacting with people of all kinds. She was an involved leader in various organizations including Mid-Day BPW, Toastmasters International, League of Women Voters, and Book Club.
Throughout her life she enjoyed gardening, cooking, tennis, theatrical performances, traveling and socializing with family and friends. She began her professional life working in an insurance agency and went on to become a successful Life Insurance Agent obtaining her CLU.
She is survived by her daughter, Korrin; grandsons, Zachary Hinds and Jacob Hinds; sister, Jane Legault and brother-in-law, Doug Wilke; Brother, Jim Legault; sister-in-law, Mary La Fountain and brother-in-law, Glenn Fifarek. Pattee is further survived by nephew, Radoslav Wilke; nieces, Julie La Batte, Lynne (Dave) Owen and Laurie (Jim) Schirger and her lifelong friend, Mary which the miles between them never mattered.
Preceding her in death are her husband, Thomas La Fountain; daughter, Cheryl La Fountain Hinds and her parents, Robert and Ruth Legault.
A special thank you to Froedtert Hospital and the exceptional caring staff in CICU. The staff at Cherry Meadows Hospice which provided selfless comfort and compassionate care.
At her request, there will be no visitation or services held. A Celebration of Life will be held in the summer to celebrate both the lives of Tom and Pattee La Fountain. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you consider a donation to: Refuge Church, 410 W Wisconsin Ave., Appleton WI 54911.
