LaVerne Pearl (Belair) Winter, 96, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2022 in Pound.
Born June 20, 1925 in Two Rivers, to Leonard and Elizabeth (Duffrin) Belair, she married Theodore Lepianka in 1945 and they raised three children.
A farm wife and devoted mother, she he enjoyed polka dancing, playing cards, sewing, cooking and gardening, but mostly spending time with her family.
In 1993 she married Russell Winter and they enjoyed gambling trips and traveling.
Survivors include three children, Ron Lepianka of Green Bay, Jean (Doyle) Bland of Vero Beach, Fla. and Joan (Kent) Casper of Pound; a sister, Pat (Ed) Anderson; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by both husbands, Russell Winter and Theodore Lepianka; daughter-in-law, Karen (Herzog) Lepianka; three brothers, Eugene Belair, Marvin Belair and Allan Belair and two sisters, Lorraine Egan and Bonnie Buchanan.
Family will greet relatives and friends on Sunday, June 5 at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Coleman from 10:30 a.m. until time of a Mass at noon Online condolences may be made at www.rhodescharapata.com Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home of Coleman is assisting the family.
