Carma (Weinfurter) Schaumann, 81, of Armstrong Creek, passed away unexpectedly while on vacation in Belize.
Born June 3, 1940 in Goodman, to the late James and Irene (Schultz) Weinfurter, she married Robin Schaumann on May 6, 1961 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Goodman.
Devoted to her family and friends and St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, where she was a lifelong member, she had a giving personality, enjoyed babysitting and giving back to her community and also belonged to the Red Hat Society.
She is survived by two children, Jody (Henry) Kratky and Stewart Schaumann and a granddaughter.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robin; two daughters, Robyn and Shelly and three siblings, MaryAnne, Jackie and Sherman.
Visitation will be held at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church in Armstrong Creek on Saturday, June 4 from 10:30 a.m. until time of a Celebration of Life Service at 11:30 a.m., with burial in Hillside Cemetery in Fence. Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee is assisting the family with arrangements.
