SNOWMOBILE FRIENDLY AWARD

At the Marinette County Board meeting on Tuesday, May 31, Lori Heideman (center left), Vice-President of Association of Wisconsin Snowmobile Clubs (AWSC) and Drew Nussbaum, Regional Tourism Specialist with Travel Wisconsin presented Marinette County with the Snowmobile Friendly Community award that allows special advertising privileges for the next four years. The "Snowmobile Friendly" designation is awarded to Wisconsin communities who demonstrate the highest standards of safety and accommodation for snowmobilers. Heads of each of Marinette County's snowmobile clubs were on hand to represent their organizations at the award presentation.
