Tina Marie (Kolaszewski) Lacanne, 55, of Wallace, Mi., passed away unexpectedly Thursday, May 26, 2022 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born Aug. 15, 1966 in Menominee, Mi., to Peter and Linda (Barthel) Kolaszewski, she graduated from Stephenson High School in 1984 and married Jim LaCanne on Oct. 23, 1997 in Menominee, Mi. She worked for the Rosary Workshop.
Her pride and joy was her daughter, Julianne, she was the apple of her eye and cherished time they spent together. She was her daughters' biggest supporter and will be remembered for her kind spirit and a loving friend to all she knew. She was an active member of Precious Blood Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Jim LaCanne; mother, Linda Kolaszewski and her daughter, Julianne LaCanne, all of Wallace; four sisters, Kim (Matthew) Duffrin of Menominee, Kelly (Gerald) Balko of St. Charles, Mn., Christine (Brad) Harris of Carney, Mi. and Anne (Eric) Zaharias of Cleveland, Tn.; two brothers-in-law, Mike (Diann) LaCanne of Flat Rock, Mi. and Steve LaCanne of Menominee, MIi. and many nieces; nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Peter and in-laws, Myron "Red" and Rosemary LaCanne.
Visitation will be held at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home in Stephenson on Wednesday June 1 from 4 p.m. until time of a Prayer Service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Thursday, June 2 from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Precious Blood Catholic Church. Fr. Edward Baafiwill preside with burial in Mellen Township Cemetery. In lieu of other forms of sympathy, a memorial fund will be established. Any expressions can be made to Jim LaCanne.
