Colleen Belle (Francour) Christensen, 73, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at her home.
Born March 18, 1949 in Marinette, to the late Patrick and Carol (VanEyck) Francour, she graduated from Marinette Catholic Central High School in 1967. She married David Impola and he preceded her in death and then later married Bruce Christensen. She worked at Stephenson National Bank and Trust as a Personal Banker for many years, a job she truly enjoyed.
She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Birch Creek. She enjoyed traveling, spending time in Branson, Mo. and going on motorcycle trips, but her pride and joy was her family.
Survivors include her husband, Bruce; eight children, Carol (Troy) Berghuis, Jason (Sara) Impola, Matthew Impola, Nathan Impola, David (Linda) Impola, Carey (Michael) Christensen, Christopher Christensen and Chad (Lisa) Christensen; two sisters, Judy (Michael) Vorachek and Rebecca Francour; three brothers, Patrick (Kathy) Francour, Tim (Jackie) Francour, and Matt (Jill) Francour; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and other family members and friends.
In addition to her parents and her first husband, David Impola, she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Nancy Francour and a niece, Tammy Vorachek.
Visitation will take place at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Birch Creek on Thursday, June 2 from 10 a.m. until time of a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., with Fr. Abraham Mupparathara presiding. Burial will be in Menominee Township Cemetery. Anderson Kell Funeral Home of Menominee is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy and kindness can be directed to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
