Blanche Marie (Rollo) Sweig, 101, of Phoenix, Az., passed way Sept. 4, 2021 with family by her side.
Born Oct. 3, 1919 in Dunbar to Marie and Edmund Rollo, she attended school in Dunbar and Niagara. She was a veteran and served in the United States Army Air Corps.
A business owner, she was always on the splitting time between Arizona and Wisconsin and was happy to have done everything she did. She was a thoughtful letter writer, a good aunt, a daily calendar keeper and had a great spirit with a beautiful smile.
She was a record holding bowler and she enjoyed RV traveling, real estate and trips to Laughlin, Nv. to the Riverside Hotel and Casino. She loved her native Wisconsin, her family and watching the Green Bay Packers, telling everyone she met, "We are lucky today".
She is survived by a son, Ron Sweig of Phoenix; a daughter, Joan (Gene) Kuhl of Westlake Village, Ca.; two grandsons; a great-granddaughter and four great-grandsons.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Leslie "Bud" and Edmund "Junior" Rollo; a sister, Evangeline Cappaert; a son, Randall Sweig and a granddaughter, Shelby Kuhl.
Visitation will be held at St. Margaret of Scotland in Pembine on Tuesday, June 14 from 10 a.m. until time of the Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Dunbar Cemetery.
