Charlotte (Stibbe) Olsen died peacefully Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Eastcastle Place in Milwaukee, WI, at the age of 92 years.
She was born Nov. 4, 1929 in Menominee, Michigan to Leonard and Flossie (nee Sebo) Stibbe.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents; infant sister, Sue Ione and her husband, Charles G. Olsen.
Charlotte leaves surviving sisters, Judith DeLeeuw, Heidi Knight and Susan Planchon. Charlotte is also survived by her loving nieces, Elizabeth Deleeuw, Catherine (Wayne) Bernardo, Jennifer (Steve) Lindquist, Sarah (Clark) Pope and Jennifer (Drew) Snodgrass and nephew, Trevor (Katherine) Knight.
Charlotte grew up in Peshtigo, WI and graduated from Ripon College with an AB degree in Biology. Charlotte became a teacher and spent the last 27 years of her career at the prestigious University School of Milwaukee High School.
Nick-named "Aunt Char", she taught biology flavored with a heavy dose of wisdom about life skills. Aunt Char's kindness and good-humored tolerance for freshman antics made her a favorite among students.
Char enjoyed travel with family and friends. One of Char's lifelong mottos was "Never lose your sense of humor" ?? and she never did. She will be missed dearly.
Per Char's wishes, no public services will be held. Her final place of rest will be Riverside Cemetery in Peshtigo, WI. Berth and Rosenthal Funeral Home of Peshtigo is assisting the family with arrangements.
