Tammy (Polzin) Tuma, 59, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Friday, June 17, 2022 at home, surrounded by her family.
Born June 18, 1962 in Marinette, to Ken and Nancy (Wiedemeier) Polzin, she graduated from Marinette High School in 1980. On Sept. 8, 1984, she married Todd Powers and he preceded her in death on April 21, 2013. On Oct. 10, 2020, she married Neal Tuma in Menominee. She worked as a Deputy Court Clerk at Menominee County Court House for many years.
She loved going camping, being with her family, spending time with her grandchildren and going on vacations in the warm weather where she could bury her toes in the sand.
Survivors include her husband, Neal of Menominee, Mi.; a daughter, Jennifer (Jeff) Tickler of Wallace, Mi.; a son, Mike (Sue) Powers of Menominee, Mi.; two step-sons, Jared and Brandon Briar; six grandchildren; her father, Ken Polzin; a sister, Tonnie (Mike) Schmidt; a brother, Todd (Alice) Polzin; brothers-in-law, Brad (Angie) Tuma and Kevin Tuma; mother-in-law, Linda Tanguay and her vacation partners in crime, Carrie and Roberta.
She was preceded in death by her mom, Nancy; husband, Todd and father-in-law, Dennis Tuma.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 21 at Cadieu Funeral Home in Menominee from 4 p.m. until time of a Memorial Service at 6 p.m., with Pastor Scott Ehle officiating. Online condolences can be made at www.cadieufuneralhome.com.
