THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Issue Date: June 23, 2022
Lori (Crass) Ramsey, 48, a life-long resident of the Marinette Menominee area, passed away Friday, June 17, 2022.
Born Jan. 23, 1974 in Marinette, to the late Terry and Karen (Vanderfin) Crass, she graduated from Menominee High School in 1992 and pursued a career as a CNA which allowed her to care for her mother that suffered from her own battles.
After her mothers passing, she worked at the Luther Home and after 14 years of service, she left to be a stay-at-home mother and grandmother. She was diagnosed with Wegener's disease 12 years ago and fought valiantly against a vicious disease.
As the matriarch of her family, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Even in suffering with pain, she made sure everyone around her was content with life and would give those close to her the shirt off her back. She will be missed.
Survivors include her husband Wade Ramsey; four children, Chesney Kloida (Jim Stefanovic), Chase Ramsey, Ezra (Gabriel) Westmoreland and Dani Ramsey; three grandchildren; her father, William Harter and four siblings, William Harter Jr., Tina Kveton, Joe Crass and Chad Crass.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Terry and Karen Crass.
