Dwane D. Rohleder, 63, of Amberg, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022 at his home.
Born Aug. 29, 1958, in Milwaukee, to the late Dolores Rohleder, he grew up and attended school in Milwaukee. After graduation, at age 17, he enlisted in the United States Marines and was stationed in San Diego, Ca. and Japan. After an honorable discharge, he lived in Milwaukee where he worked at a glass installation factory and then was a self-employed mechanic. In 1989, he moved to Amberg, where he worked as a shipbuilder for Marinette Marine and also continued his trade as a mechanic.
He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting deer, fishing and time with friends around the campfire. A homebody, he enjoyed having friends over, classic cars and helping his friends restore them.
Survivors include two daughters, Melissa (Juan) Lopez, Kingsville, Tx. and DeAnn (Demetrius) Wilson, Milwaukee; two sisters, Sharon (Paul) May, Waukesha and Sandy (Tom) Garsombke, Hartford and five grandchildren.
In addition to his mother, Dolores, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Vincent Kozmut; a brother, Erve Rohleder and his girlfriend, Jami Marie.
Visitation will be held at Jacobs Funeral Home, Niagara Chapel on Sunday, June 26 from noon until time of a Celebration of Life at 1 p.m. with Pastor James Danielson officiating. Friends may leave condolences and tributes to the family online at www.jacobsfuneralhomes.com
